Our Mission
To engage Daufuskie Island residents in supporting community enhancements, to provide emergency funds for hurricanes and other natural disasters and to award scholarships for college & continued education.

The Haig Point Foundation will achieve its mission by: Undertaking Daufuskie Island community enhancement projects as identified; Building & maintaining an Emergency Fund of $50,000, Coordinating our efforts with other Daufuskie Island non-profit organizations; and Organizing fundraising efforts to solicit contributions from individuals, corporations and government grants.
